AT A GLANCE  Have a problem with an order? Contact us first — we’ll almost always fix it faster than your bank can. Filing a chargeback instead of contacting us (“friendly fraud”) is a breach of these Terms, and we vigorously dispute illegitimate chargebacks with full order evidence.

We’re committed to resolving every issue fairly and quickly. This policy explains how payment disputes work and protects both you and our small business from fraud.

Contact Us First

If something is wrong with your order — it’s late, damaged, incorrect, or you have a billing question — please email support@adhd-proud.com before contacting your bank or card issuer. We can typically resolve issues directly and immediately, whereas a chargeback can take weeks and may delay your resolution.

Illegitimate Chargebacks (“Friendly Fraud”)

Initiating a chargeback for a legitimate, authorized purchase — instead of using our refund, exchange, or support process — is considered a breach of these Terms. Examples include claiming non-delivery on a carrier-confirmed delivered package, disputing a charge you recognize, or requesting a refund after receiving and keeping the product.

How We Respond

We document every order with evidence including proof of authorization, IP and device data, order and email confirmations, fulfillment records, carrier tracking and delivery scans, and any support correspondence.

We dispute illegitimate chargebacks with this evidence through our payment processors (e.g., Shopify Payments / Shop Pay) and applicable card-network programs.

Accounts and email/payment identifiers associated with fraudulent chargebacks may be blocked from future purchases, and we may decline to ship pending orders.

We reserve the right to recover amounts owed (including the disputed amount, chargeback fees, and reasonable costs) and to refer fraudulent activity to our processors and, where appropriate, the authorities or collections.

Legitimate Disputes

Of course, genuine billing errors and unauthorized transactions happen — if you believe your payment information was used without your authorization, contact us right away and we’ll help. This policy targets abuse, not honest customers
