This Privacy Policy describes how ADHD Proud (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit or make a purchase from adhd-proud.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. Our online store is hosted by Shopify.

Information We Collect

Information you provide: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, order details, and any messages you send us. We do not store full payment card numbers — payments are processed securely by our payment providers (see below).

Information collected automatically: when you browse the Site, we automatically collect “Device Information,” including your IP address, browser type and version, time zone, the pages you view, referring/exit pages, and how you interact with the Site. We collect this using cookies, log files, web beacons, tags, and pixels.

Cookies, Analytics & Advertising Technologies

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your cart, understand performance, and personalize marketing. These include:

•    Essential cookies required for checkout, security, and core functionality (including Shopify and Shop Pay).

•    Advertising and conversion tracking, including the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads, and similar tools, which help us measure ad performance and show relevant ads on third-party platforms.

We share personal information only as needed to run our business, including with:

•    Shopify, which powers our online store and checkout;

•    Payment processors (e.g., Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal) to process transactions;

•    Print-on-demand and fulfillment partners and shipping carriers to produce and deliver your order;

•    Marketing and analytics providers (e.g., email/SMS platforms, Meta, Google) consistent with your choices;

•    Service providers who support fraud prevention, customer service, and IT; and

•    Authorities or other parties when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights, customers, or community.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Certain data uses for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under some U.S. state laws — see the California Privacy Rights section for how to opt out.

Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described here — including order history, tax, accounting, and legal compliance — and then delete or anonymize it. Order and transaction records are typically retained for several years to meet financial and legal obligations.

•    Access, correction, deletion, and portability: depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Children’s Privacy

Our products celebrate the ADHD community, including youth apparel, but the Site is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). Purchases must be made by an adult (18+); minors may use the Site only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact support@adhd-proud.com and we will delete it.

Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and we rely on Shopify’s PCI-compliant infrastructure for payments. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Transfers

We operate online and may process information in the United States and other countries that may have different data protection laws than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers (see the GDPR section).
